Okay, I’ll admit it, I’m a sugar addict. I love sweets and chocolate. I enjoy indulging everyday. It’s usually not much but I’ll have a handful or two of candy or a couple of cookies. However, this urge increases during my time of the month. That’s when I get crazy about chocolate. I crave it with a passion.
My husband’s gotten to a place where he gets after me when I eat sugar because he knows I eat a lot more than I should. It drives him nuts when I put junk into my body, especially when it starts to become a daily habit. But there’s also another side of him that likes to indulge as well. Except when he does it, he goes all of the way. The man can destroy a box of Thin Mints. Because of this, I often hide my little late night romances with sweet treats.
Then there’s my daughter who I don’t want to get in the habit of eating unhealthy food. I rarely eat anything bad in front of her. With the two of them together, it becomes an anti-sweet zone. Most days this isn’t a huge issue but when I’m having Aunt Flo over or have had a horrible day, I tend to find solace in a pint of icecream of something similar. I filmed this Snapchat story the other day to document the pure craziness I’ve resorted to so I can get my fix. It’s pretty funny and I’m sure some of you can relate. Enjoy!
