Radical body love. Lately I’ve been trying to speak into the lives of my friends and family about excepting their own bodies. My journey doesn’t have to just focus on me but I’ll be honest, others don’t seem to receive it well. The concept of health comes up where I hear myself saying the same sentence over and over again, you can be healthy at a variety of sizes. So many people are stuck in diet culture and wanting to constantly lose weight. It’s very ingrained in our society. While there’s nothing wrong with working on your body, I’d love to see everyone in my life find contentment at some point. It’s okay to love your body even if it isn’t the world’s text book definition of beauty. What would happen if we just paused and accepted ourselves as is?
